Revisiting footage of some of my very first fights to share an embarrassing clip while also looking back on a little women's Muay Thai history. This #iwd, I wanted to highlight some of the Thai activists and organisations who are campaigning for gender equality and diversity, starting important conversations, and doing invaluable work to combat gender-based violence. As Eating Disorders Awareness Week draws to a close, I've published a new article on a topic I've been meaning to share for a long time. An old fight video from 2016, against Krataithong Por. Promin🐰 She had a super strong right kick! It's been an entire year since I published 'How to be an Ally to Women in Muay Thai'. Here's part of the article that I never posted to the feed. 🚩Do any of these sound familiar? 🚩 Thank you so much to @rojasmuaythai for this amazing Muay Thai shorts and t-shirt set 🏳️‍🌈❤️ The oldest trick in the book 🙄 Towards the end of 2022, I wrote about toxic gym culture in Muay Thai and other martial arts. Lots of people responded with their own experiences, showing just how common toxic gyms can be.
