I tease @kruchon_muaythai for sparring like he's in a lakorn, because he loves a bit of overacting 🎬 When the p'win is better at striking a pose than you are 💁‍♀️🔥 5 years ago, when I fought Nong Fang Sor. Praithong in an unplanned rematch. We first fought 3 years earlier, when I won by KO in the first round with a right hand. This time, she out-scored me and won by decision. Both times, I didn't know who my opponent was until I got to the fight and saw our names on the program. That was standard for most of my fights. Not having a current Muay Thai gym to call home means I'm focusing on my strength and conditioning for the time being, just until I figure things out. March 1st was a date to look forward to for much of my fight career, because it's when I would get to fight at the Muay Thai College in Chombeung, Ratchaburi. They held annual Muay Thai festivals, and I fought there four years in a row, starting from 2013. Won 2, lost 2, loved the experience every time. 10 years ago today, I had my very first fight. It was life-changing. My newest article is about how men can be better allies to women in Muay Thai. It lays out guidelines for Muay Thai practitioners, gym owners, trainers and even content creators, and starts by looking at how one particular post got it wrong. We're one day into 2022 and I already need another vacation. Enjoying being a lady of leisure for the last few days of the year. I deserve this shit.
