Good Toughness and Bad Toughness

This post is an article that was written by a follower who wishes to remain anonymous, but wanted an outlet for their writing. I’m more than happy to provide that. The author provides a history of boxing from his own perspective, having spent most of his life in the sport. He talks about how combat sports have developed, and advocates their benefits, including how they can instill toughness in a person. He explains that while toughness is often viewed as a negative thing, martial arts can help to build what he calls ‘good toughness’. It’s an interesting read. You can see the article in PDF form here, or scroll down to read.
